Anziano Price leaves in exactly three weeks. Impossible to believe. Three weeks from today he will be entering the MTC and we will have already said our goodbyes. I am unprepared, overwhelmed, humbled, desperate, and proud as I can be.
We are slowly finishing our preparations. This week we are supposed to start a blog so that we can easily keep friends and family updated throughout his mission...welcome! We will post all of Caleb's letters and pictures here so check back every week for updates.
Other preparation items on our list this week are: labeling all his clothes and gear, checking for missing items, starting the packing process, and making arrangements for the "Pie & Tie Night."
This week we will also celebrate Caleb's nineteenth birthday. I remember the first time I held him on that sunny, warm Minnesota morning, and can hardly believe that it is already time to let him go. We named him for a man of great faith, someone who trusted and followed his prophet when everyone else was doubting. It was the perfect name.
Never more so.
